BBC Scotland: Explore some moreBBC Scotland has just launched its first early years website, supporting active play and containing interesting concepts and areas for the very young to explore. What's going on in the dark room? Find a torch and light up some dark spaces. Look closer through a telescope or magnifying glass. Make the puppets dance to suit their mood, play with bubbles, listen to a story or find things to do on a wet day. After each small activity children are encouraged to leave the computer and Explore Some More by engaging in some activity inspired by what they've seen and heard.
Digi-InfantDigi-Infant is a new member of the family of Digi-websites. Their aim is to help teachers give their pupils the very best they can offer. The objective is to make this the number one community for teachers and aspiring teachers in early years education.
NumbertimeThis website contains activities to support teaching and learning of mathematical concepts in early years. It provides games, songs, animations and ideas. Based on the popular series BBC Numbertime, it includes areas such as recognising numbers, counting on, addition, subtraction and number sequences.
